Walker seemed to be surprised to find someone with a similar reach, and even tho we crashed together several times I managed to deflect his blade on my way in.
Lost to Navarro jr. up from 1/4! when I finally figured out I was getting too close, but 4/4 and I messed up once more.
Got 4 on Robinson, but he didn't really seem to be doing his best.
Despite some consternation about Tim's directing in my bout vs. Dollar, I managed to beat him - couldn't tell what happened on that last point myself so it could have been either way. I was trying to keep my distance, which was hard he has a much longer reach than he looks to. The only way to get in for a hit seemed to be to fletche.

a tough one, up til 10/10 we were about neck & neck. I managed to be a bit quicker with my retreat reposts

started off not too bad we were about even until 7 or 8 , then he got a bit ahead, and I tried to close up , my disengages or circles worked some, but too often I attacked and he managed to retreat and get a repost, even when I fletched. I should have taken more time instead of trying to push even if he was ahead.

I was rushed since I was expected my Foil DE to start any moment.
Hewitt is huge - I couldn't touch him, and felt lucky to get the double.
Amie is more a Sabur and she caught me coming in for an attack without a straight arm.
Julian was a talented U
Tibbs is a strong A
Brang is a strong B

after a while I stopped trying to go all out and just went for doubles to save some energy, he was quick but I was managing to push through most of them, when I remembered to

started out ok, I was even up at 2-3, but his reach eventually started to tell, I couldn't seem to catch his arm, going for the leg would get me a double, and going for the body if I timed it really well when he was recovering I could get it, but I couldn't get the timing often enough, and if I messed it up at all it was his. Generally his counter would out reach my attack. He broke my favorite old Epee blade :( but my point!, caught his shoulder on his attack, after that he stopped attacking and as he was ahead was more defensive. That's where I think I messed it up when he went defensive I started to attack more, and he was getting the counters, more than I was hitting.
